Measures are systematically taken to reduce injuries and eliminate the possibility of accidents.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

(in accordance with ISO 14001:2015)
KazWest Services LLP recognizes its responsibility to its employees, partners, and society for creating, maintaining, and continually improving safe and healthy working conditions at all stages of production.

The Company strives to meet the highest standards and best international practices in occupational health, safety, and environmental protection (OHSE) and views these as a critical component of effective production management and sustainable development.

Our efforts are focused on:
  • Preserving the lives and health of employees and all people within the Company's operational footprint;
  • Ensuring asset integrity and equipment reliability; Reducing negative environmental impacts.

The Company is guided by the following principles:
  • Compliance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as international and national standards and the Company's internal documents;
  • Leadership and personal commitment of managers at all levels in implementing OHSE programs;
  • Continuous improvement of the OHSE management system based on international best practices;
  • Setting goals and indicators aimed at improving HSE performance;
  • Developing a strong safety culture among employees and ensuring personal responsibility for compliance with HSE requirements;
  • Immediate notification, investigation, and recording of accidents, incidents, emergencies, and occupational diseases in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Ensuring employees' legal right to refuse work if there is a threat to life or health;
  • Providing training, competency development, and advanced training for employees in HSE;
  • Ensuring constant readiness of personnel and facilities to respond to emergency situations;
  • Implementation of safe, energy-efficient, and resource-saving technologies aimed at reducing pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions and risk management at all stages of production processes.

  • Transparency and accessibility of information on HSE issues for shareholders, employees, government agencies, and the public.

Policy Scope
This Policy applies to all employees of KazWest Services LLP, as well as to employees of contractors performing work and providing services at the Company's facilities.

Management Responsibilities
KazWest Services LLP's management provides the necessary resources, conditions, and support for the effective operation of the HSE management system and is committed to its continuous improvement.

RIGHT TO REFUSE TO PERFORM HAZARDOUS WORK

KazWest Services LLP prioritizes human life and health over production and commercial interests and affirms the right of every employee to stop work if there is a danger to human life and health or a threat to the environment.
The Company maintains a safety culture in which safety is an absolute priority, and every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work if hazardous conditions are identified.

Right to Stop Work
Every KazWest Services LLP employee, as well as contractor employees performing work at the Company's facilities, has the right to immediately stop work if:
  • a real or potential threat to human life or health is identified;
  • working conditions do not meet occupational health, industrial safety, or environmental safety requirements;
  • personal protective equipment is missing or faulty;
  • equipment, tools, or machinery are unsafe or faulty;
  • working conditions have changed that were not included in the work permit, risk analysis, or instructions;
  • there are signs of an emergency or pre-emergency situation;
  • There are concerns about the safety of the work being performed.

Employee Responsibilities Upon Work Stoppage
An employee who has decided to stop work is obligated to:
  • ensure the safety of people and equipment whenever possible;
  • immediately notify their immediate supervisor or responsible person of the stoppage;
  • not resume work until any identified hazards have been eliminated and permission has been received from the responsible person.

Management Responsibilities
The management and line managers of KazWest Services LLP undertake to:
  • support and encourage employees' right to stop hazardous work;
  • immediately respond to notifications of work stoppages;
  • ensure an investigation of the reasons for the work stoppage and the implementation of corrective measures;
  • avoid pressure, disciplinary action, or other negative consequences against employees who have exercised their right to stop work in good faith;
  • ensure that contractors comply with the requirements of this Policy.

No Penalties
The Company guarantees that no employee will be subject to disciplinary action, fines, demotion, or other negative consequences for stopping work if such actions were taken in good faith and for safety reasons.

Scope
This Policy applies to all employees of KazWest Services LLP, as well as contractors and subcontractors performing work at the Company's facilities or on its behalf.

Management Responsibility
The senior management of KazWest Services LLP assumes responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, and compliance with this Policy, as well as for fostering a safety culture based on the principle of "Stop Work Is Right."

ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY

KazWest Services LLP operates on the principles of lawfulness, integrity, and transparency and adheres to a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption in any form. Corruption undermines trust, damages the Company's business reputation, and is contrary to the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Anti-Corruption Policy Principles
The Company is guided by the following principles:
  • zero tolerance for corruption;
  • compliance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • honesty and transparency in relationships with clients, partners, government agencies, and contractors;
  • personal responsibility of employees for compliance with anti-corruption requirements.

Prohibitions
KazWest Services LLP prohibits the following:
  • offering, giving, promising, accepting, or soliciting bribes, illegal rewards, gifts, or services;
  • making payments or providing advantages for the purpose of obtaining improper benefits;
  • using official position for personal gain;
  • participating in corruption schemes, directly or through third parties;
  • Conceal or distort information related to corruption risks.

Gifts and Entertainment Expenses
Only legal, reasonable, and transparent gifts and entertainment expenses that are not intended to obtain an improper advantage and that comply with the Company's internal procedures are permitted.

Employee Responsibilities
Company employees are obligated to:
  • comply with the requirements of this Policy;
  • avoid conflicts of interest and promptly report any such occurrence;
  • report any facts or attempts at corruption;
  • cooperate with audits and investigations.

Contractors and Partners
The Company's contractors and other business partners are obligated to comply with the principles of this Anti-Corruption Policy. The Company reserves the right to terminate cooperation if corruption violations are detected.

Liability
Violation of the requirements of this Policy entails liability in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Company's internal documents.

Scope and Responsibilities of Management
This Policy applies to all Company employees, as well as contractors and subcontractors acting on behalf of or in the interests of the Company.
Management ensures the implementation, compliance, and oversight of this Policy and the development of a culture of intolerance to corruption.

POLICY ON THE PROHIBITION OF THE USE OF ALCOHOL, NARCOTIC AND PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES

KazWest Services LLP recognizes that the use of alcohol, narcotics, and psychoactive substances poses a threat to the life and health of employees, the safety of production processes, property, and the environment.
The Company adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding their use in the workplace and while performing work on behalf of the Company.

Prohibitions
The following is prohibited at KazWest Services LLP facilities:
  • being in the workplace, at the Company's facilities, or at clients' premises while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or toxic substances;
  • consuming, possessing, or distributing alcohol, narcotics, or other substances that affect attention and reaction;
  • performing work under the influence of medications that reduce performance without notifying management and obtaining medical clearance;
  • operating vehicles, equipment, or performing hazardous work while showing signs of intoxication.

Employee Responsibilities
Employees are required to:
  • be at work sober and able to work;
  • inform management about the use of medications that affect safety;
  • Comply with the requirements of this Policy and internal procedures;
  • report any violations identified.

Control and Responsibility
The Company reserves the right to conduct inspections, suspend employees from work, and send them for medical examinations in accordance with the established procedure.
Violation of this Policy constitutes a gross violation of labor discipline and entails liability in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, internal documents, and contract terms.

Contractors
Contractors are required to comply with the requirements of this Policy and are responsible for the actions of their personnel.

Scope and Responsibility
This Policy applies to all employees of KazWest Services LLP and contractors.
The Company's management ensures its implementation and oversees its implementation.
